Stay Safe Tactics was formed for the purpose of offering personal safety training and consultation to men, women and children who want to learn to protect themselves and their families but do not have the time or inclination to join a martial arts studio.

Stay Safe Tactics offers private, semi-private and group self-defense instruction and seminars as well as police and security training. Pat Collins, founder of SST and a recently retired Chicago Police Officer and certified trainer, draws from his professional, personal and training experience to put together a practical and simplified system of self-protection.

Getting into a physical confrontation is the last option that should be chosen unless violence and the threat of physical injury are perceived imminent. Other factors to consider in personal protection are awareness, avoidance and verbal de-escalation skills. If these fail or a suprise attack occurs then escape, physical tactics, or use of personal protection devices are other options.
